I’m really disappointed with my time at Trudy’s. As someone who is plus size, I wanted to come in with an open mind and called ahead to make sure that my sizes and dress style were available. The owner himself assured me they had a wide variety of sizes and that I would be able to try on dresses that would not only be in my size, but what I truly wanted. However, the very first dress I tried during my appointment was 2 sizes too small and had to be clamped so much that I could barely move nor visualize myself in the perfect dress for my wedding being so uncomfortable. When asked about the bigger sizes that I had called ahead about, I was told that they only had certain sample sizes, which was the complete opposite of what was said on the phone. On top of that, ALL of the dresses pulled for me were smaller than my size, not within my budget and I felt rushed the entire time I was there. Within my hour and a half appointment, I was barely able to try on 3 dresses, and my appointment started late. My mom also asked about veils and we were told that we couldn’t see them until we chose a dress that we truly wanted “to save time.” Overall I was very disappointed with my experience and felt uncomfortable the whole time. If it wasn’t for the fact that I had driven an hour to get there and my family had taken off work to accompany me, I would have left Trudy’s as soon as I was told that they didn’t have my size. Glad I found my perfect wedding dress elsewhere at a shop that made me feel comfortable and like royalty!

Jennifer was amazing! She was able to get me a same-day appointment and really took the time to show me different dresses to make me feel and look my best! After an hour, I finally found it! I said yes to a Maggie Sottero dress today! Don’t knock it till you try it. I told myself I wouldn’t go with lace or a strapless dress and I went with both. Thank you for all of your help today! You made this such a fun process! 🤎

Didi was such a joy to work with! I knew what I wanted in my head but was having a hard time translating it - she read my mind and made my dream bridal look come true!! We came to Trudy’s after an appointment elsewhere that left us feeling bummed out because the consultant was rude to everyone in my party and said what I wanted was too complicated. Didi turned the day around and made my vision come to life. She was patient, knowledgeable with a bubbly personality that made the whole process less stressful and a truly fun experience. I can’t wait to wear my dress on my wedding day! I could not be happier. Thank you Didi!

I absolutely love my dress!! Jennifer is the best bridal consultant I've ever come across! She also helped my friend get her wedding dress at Trudy's. I highly recommend asking for Jennifer if you'll be trying on dresses here! As a plus size bride she found multiple options in my budget to try on! At the end I left with my dress and I'm so happy with the overall experience. I will be bringing my other friend to Trudy's and we will be requesting Jennifer. Thank you so much Jennifer! 💖

This was an absolutely perfect experience! Jen was simply the best. She asked questions, listened and heard what we shared. She was thoughtful, helpful and a heck of a lot of fun! Not only did our bride find a dress she loved, but it was off the rack, fit her well (plus sized), needs minor alterations and it was a third of her budget. Didi was such a joy to work with! Her experience, dress knowledge, and her bubbly personality made my dress shopping experience a breeze. This shop offers so many dresses in different price ranges that you can really find something for everyone. I ended up getting a dress on clearance for (drum roll please) $200 and it fit like a glove!! I couldn’t believe they offered such a beautiful dress in that price range. Such a steal! I would recommend going to Trudy’s first 100%
